For Application Progress Presentation I (Research Session): Submit the application form (in this WEB site) and an Overview-document of doctoral thesis to the office of Institute of Health and Sport Sciences.
Progress Presentation II (Research Session): Submit the application form (in this WEB site) and Doctoral thesis (more than 80% completed) to the office of Institute of Health and Sport Sciences.
Send E-mail to person in charge with the information you wrote on the application form after you submit the application form to the office.
Note
  • Graduate Students who try to get doctoral degree in March 2027 must complete Progress Presentation II by September 2026.
  • E-mail for entry completed will be sent from person in charge after the application (on both Progress Presentation I & II).
  • Submit the Review Report of Progress Presentation II made by the supervisor to the office of Institute of Health and Sport Sciences.

3.Preliminary Defense (open for all)

Until two weeks before the Defense (at any time) Submit the application form (in this WEB site) and doctoral thesis to Prof. Kenji TSUNODA (A601)
Note
  • Committee for doctoral thesis will examine the related papers of the applicant.
  • It is desirable of attendance of Professor other than the faculty at the Defense.
  • Graduate Students who try to get doctoral degree in March 2027 must complete the Defense by November 9, 2026.
  • Submit the Review Report of Preliminary Defense (made by the main professor of the Defense) to the Program Chair by the November 16, 2026.
  • The Committee of the Doctoral Program will accept the report on November 18, 2026.

 

4.Dissertation Defense (open for all)

December 2, 2026 (Wed.) 9：00〜16：00 Submit a set of document for examining dissertation thesis (made by Graduate Student) and doctoral thesis (Temporarily-bound book may OK) to the office of Institute of Health and Sport Sciences.
Note
  • The Committee of Comprehensive Human Sciences (will be held on December 25, 2026) will accept the document and nominates the professor other than the faculty on the Defense.
  • The Committee for doctoral thesis (the Period of the Defense)：December 26, 2026 – January 31, 2027.
  • Submit the report of the Defense (made by the main professor of the Defense) to the office by February 2, 2027.
  • Doctoral thesis (CD-R) must be submitted to the office by March 25, 2027.
  • Graduate Student excessing standard study term will submit the application form at any time, but the commencement will be held on September or March at every year.
